What is it?

In multicultural workplaces where English is the operational language, native English speakers have somewhat of an advantage. With people from various language backgrounds working together, it is often native English speakers who can disproportionately and unknowingly contribute to misunderstandings by using language or means of communication that are simply less accessible for non-native English-speaking team members. As well as causing time-consuming misunderstandings, this can also diminish workplace inclusion.

While non-native speakers can continue to improve their English to try to close the communication gap, this can take quite a lot of time. On the other hand, when native English speakers learn some fundamental tools to modify their language and do their part to close this communication gap, the benefits can be felt immediately.

Seeing the simplicity of the solutions and the positive results they bring about will have trainees wondering why they have not done this global English skills training before!

Is this course eligible for CPD points?

Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate which details the commitment involved. This allows HR departments to make a determination as to the allocation of CPD points for successful completion of our courses, according to their own internal CPD systems.
