FAQ's
This course is described as on-demand and self-paced. What does this mean?
This is an on-demand, self-paced course. This means that there are no ‘live’ classes with a trainer, alternatively we have pre-recorded the training content via video and organised the content into modules. Trainees can access the course and learn from any device (e.g. smartphone, tablet, laptop, PC) at any time that suits them.
How is the course organised?
There are 8 modules each consisting of microlearning modules with accompanying video including subtitles. Each module is followed by an assessment to evaluate an individual’s understanding of the learnings from the videos. Learners must pass each test (70%) before progressing to the next module. A summary of the content of each module is available to download.
For how long will the course be accessible to learners?
Learners have access to the course for 12 months after commencement.
Will learners receive a certificate for this course?
Yes, a certificate of achievement is awarded to learners on successful completion of the course.
How long does it take to complete the course?
As this is an on-demand, self-paced course, completion times are subjective. There is an approximate total of 3 hours uninterrupted viewing time along with end of module assessments and extra materials. It will depend on the learner and is completely designed to go at their pace. Access to the course lasts 12 months.
What level of English is required for this course?
It is important that learners have some ability to communicate in English. It would not be suitable for absolute beginners due to the nature of the course. The level range we recommend is from A1 to B2 on the Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) which translates to basic user to independent user of English or from high beginner to medium advanced. It is designed in such a way that all levels that fall within the A1 to B2 bracket will benefit.
Is this course eligible for CPD points?
Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate which details the commitment involved. This allows HR departments to make a determination as to the allocation of CPD points for successful completion of our courses, according to their own internal CPD systems.
AllTalk Training is not on the National Framework of Qualifications as a credit bearing course. This is standard practice for professional courses of this nature where the need is for fresh and actionable skills (in a shorter form course) that are demonstrated immediately in the workplace.
